DRES2Market

DRES2Market is a European Union’s Horizon 2020, granted research programme project aiming developing a complete and comprehensive framework to facilitate active participation of distributed generation based on renewable energy – solar PV and wind energy in the electricity market and supply of ancillary services to the power system.

The RES, the storage devices and smart technologies have witnessed deep development in the last years, and these capabilities could be applied to enhance integration of variable renewable energy in the electricity markets and provision of ancillary services.
Analysing and evaluating existing technologies to design appropriate approaches and technics for the effective integration of distributed generation in the electricity and ancillary services markets.
Analysing the European Union and North American grid codes, as well as market rules in assessing their evolution to enable participation of variable renewable energy.
Analysing current European electricity markets to develop guidelines for effective approach and active participation of variable renewable energy and distributed generation in the EU electricity markets.
Designing techniques and approaches for active involvement of final consumers in penetration of variable energy resources according to market criteria and requirements.
Developing recommendations of equipment and devices standards for enhancing RES integration, as well as for regulatory harmonization inside the European Union.
Promoting opportunities for active participation of final consumers and prosumers according to market criteria and proposing schemes of collaboration.

OUR PARTNERS

The DRES2Market project consortium consists of 15 partners and third parties across from six European countries: Spain, Greece, Austria, France, Poland and from Norway.
